Monday's job fair, sponsored by 6th District Rep. Bob Goodlatte, attracted more than 50 vendors that included private companies, government agencies and those providing services to help people with their employment skills. Others present at Monday's job fair wanted to let job applicants know of the services they offer. Janet Harvey, the executive director of the Waynesboro Area Learning & Technology Center, helps people improve computer skills. Harvey said her nonprofit helps people with keyboarding skills and resume development.
