Linking Literacy and Technology for Change

The Waynesboro Area Learning & Technology Center, Learn and Casa de Amistad have been awarded a United Way Community Impact Grant for the collaborative ”Linking Literacy and Technology for Change.” Using Rosetta Stone software ESOL tutors will assist participants to acquire better English language skills which will accelerate and integrate them into the American economic and social systems. Developing better English language and technology skills will also enhance opportunities for both adults and children, improving the lives of individuals and families in a multicultural community. This grant is bringing together three vital organizations to better serve the community.
