WAYNESBORO – A federal program to help migrant and seasonal farm workers will soon take root in Waynesboro.

Representatives from Telamon Corp. were in Waynesboro on June 4 to announce the setting up of an office at the Waynesboro Area Learning & Technology Center. Their aim is to help area migrant and seasonal farm workers find employment, education and other kinds of support under the National Farmworker Jobs Program — a program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor.
